Yes!  Give us a call to discuss your requirements and we will work with you to provide the care and services you need.


Am I eligible for government-subsidized aged care services?

This is dependent on your personal situation and you will be required to undergo an assessment. Further details are available on https://www.myagedcare.gov.au/ or call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 to discuss your situation.


Can I still get help from West Coast Care if I don’t qualify for funding?

Yes!  We provide privately funded services – so give us a call at West Coast Care to discuss your requirements on : 0423 551 710


How does NDIS funding work ?

All participants have been assessed and awarded NDIS funding which then can be used to access appropriate services. If you require further details on services you can speak with your plan manager. If you are self-managing your plan then we may be able to help you, alternatively you can contact NDIS on 1800 800 110 or go to https://www.ndis.gov.au/

I need staff! Can you help me?

Yes! Staffing Solution are a specialised team ready to assist you with your needs. We have temporary staff available for your requirements. 


How much notice do you need to supply staff?

Not much. You can call us and we can begin the process. 


Do I have to sign any contracts with you?

We do not have contracts for our clients however, we do require all of our clients to sign our Terms & Conditions. These are an outline of our requirements and are provided to you prior to our engagement of supplying staff.


What’s involved in the recruitment process if I need staff?

We gather as much information as possible about the position you have vacant. Our trained consultants will contact you to go through this information. We will request a Job Description to assist us in sending the right applicants to you. 


How do I know if an applicant has been reference checked?

All of our suitable applicants are reference-checked for both full-time and temporary positions. Reference checks for applicants can be supplied on request.

How can I be sure the staff I receive will have the right skill I require for the job?


All staff employed by West Coast Care Pty Ltd undergo an in-depth interview process to ensure that they have met the industry requirements. Our team can then determine each staff member's skillset and place them into the appropriate jobs.


I need a staff member to cover 4 weeks annual leave. Can I have the same person?

This is the best option for all parties. It allows you as the client to be assured that you will have consistency and it will also allow the staff member to be confident in the role they are covering. As much notice as possible needs to be given to ensure the same staff can be provided.

How do I register with West Coast Care ?


If you would like to register with us you can submit your cover letter and resume at recruitment@westcoastcare.com.au . All resumes and applications are kept on file for 3 months.


Do I need to provide you with references?

In short…YES! All our candidates are reference-checked whether it is for temporary work or any permanent positions you are applying for. It is important that you give us permission.


Do you offer any training courses?

We provide online training modules for all staff.


Do I need my own transport?

Working for us is no different from working anywhere else! It’s highly recommended that you can provide your own transport for work. 

Staff Grooming

•    Ensure that your attire is clean and well ironed.
•    No facial piercings.
•    Minimal jewellery - preferably a watch, 1 set of earrings (studs or small sleepers).
•    Males should be clean shaven or have a neatly trimmed beard.
•    Shoes should be cleaned and polished.
•    Tattoos must not be visible.
•    Ensure your hair is neatly tied back using natural hair ties that match your hair colour.
•    Nails should be neatly trimmed, manicured and with none / clear nail polish.
